Project Management

Network 24’s project management process is based on the PRINCE2 Project Management methodology providing a series of elements to manage the project through its life cycle. The key, basic elements will consist of:

• Defining the project accurately, systematically clarifying objectives

• Dividing the project up into manageable tasks and stages

• Controlling the project through its stages using the project definition as a baseline, including the financial implications.  

• Highlighting risks and developing specific procedures to deal with them

• Providing mechanisms to deal with quality issues

• Identifying roles to provide the basis for effective teamwork 

These elements along with the need to provide accountability and effective communication throughout results in Network 24’s recognition of responsibilities within a project, together with its focus on what a project is to deliver (the why, when and for whom) provides our client's projects with:

• A common, consistent approach

• A controlled and organised start, middle and end

• Regular reviews of progress against plan

• Assurance that the project continues to have a business justification

• Flexible decision points

• The involvement of management and stakeholders at the right time and place during the project

• Good communication channels between all involved parties

• A means of capturing and sharing lessons learned

• A route to increasing the project management skills and competencies of the Project Team at all levels.
